Terms of Service

FinishedYet is operated by Daniil Davidchuk, an individual based in Slovakia, as a free, non-commercial hobby project. Contact: support@finishedyet.com.

FinishedYet is a free beta for tracking, rating, reviewing, organising and sharing videogames. There is no monetization at launch. These Terms govern your use.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Provide accurate registration information, protect your password and contact us about suspected misuse. You are responsible for how you use your account.

You retain your rights in submitted reviews, lists, profile text and avatars. You are responsible for your content and must have the rights needed to submit it.

You give the operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format, display and process it only as needed to provide FinishedYet, respect visibility choices and handle moderation. This licence ends when content is deleted, except for copies reasonably needed for the retention purposes in the Privacy Policy or required by law.

Do not infringe copyright or other rights. Game titles, artwork and catalog information remain subject to their owners' rights. FinishedYet branding and original software/content remain the operator's or contributors' property, subject to applicable licences.

Read the Privacy Policy. New activity and lists default private. Public presentation requires a public profile and separately public content. Making a profile private preserves individual visibility choices; making it public again can reveal previously public items. Uploaded avatar URLs are public. Achievements have a separate display choice.

Public content can be viewed without an account and copied. Blocking limits social/community visibility while signed in and removes follows in both directions; it does not prevent logged-out viewing or restore follows when unblocked.

Follow the Community Guidelines. Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, publish hateful or unlawful material, expose private information, spam, manipulate ratings or misuse reports.

Do not distribute malware, access someone else's account or private data, bypass security or rate limits, disrupt availability, harvest user data, or use unauthorized scraping or automation.

Keep spoilers out of names, titles and other visible text, and warn before plot details. Readers can reveal or hide game-page community review cards; other review snippets may be visible immediately. A spoiler-free experience is not promised.

Signed-in users can report public profiles, reviews and lists using Report. Use Report illegal content for suspected illegality without signing in. If submission fails, contact support@finishedyet.com.

The operator reviews reports/notices manually and may hide or restore reviews/lists, restrict or restore public profile presentation, or dismiss reports. These presentation restrictions do not themselves delete accounts or prevent sign-in. Moderation does not change saved public/private choices.

Reporting does not guarantee removal or another outcome. No fixed response time or complete confidentiality is promised. Ask about a decision or request reconsideration by emailing the relevant content location and your concern; this is a manual contact process.

Game data comes through Twitch's IGDB service. FinishedYet is not affiliated with, partnered with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Twitch or IGDB and does not claim ownership of their data. IGDB ratings are labelled separately from FinishedYet community ratings. Records may be incomplete or inaccurate; see Game data info.

Providers support hosting, authentication and other functions described in the Privacy Policy. External websites/services have their own terms and privacy practices.

Features may change, be interrupted or discontinued. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability, permanent storage, backups available to you or complete game records. Keep your own export if you need a copy.

You may stop using FinishedYet and delete your account in Account and data settings. Some reporting, moderation, security and legal records may remain as explained in the Privacy Policy. Contact us if you cannot access your account.

FinishedYet is offered for personal use as an evolving free beta. To the extent applicable law permits, no additional warranty of availability or fitness for a particular purpose is given, and the operator is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

These Terms are governed by the law of Slovakia, subject to mandatory protections under the law applicable to you. Disputes may be brought before courts competent under applicable law. These Terms do not require arbitration or remove mandatory jurisdiction rights. You can first contact support@finishedyet.com to seek a resolution.

Material changes will be published here with a new version and effective date. We will provide additional notice or obtain agreement where applicable law requires it; publication alone does not replace express agreement where required. Contact us about changes or stop using the service.
