Community Guidelines
Keep the conversation about games
FinishedYet is a free beta community for people aged 16+. Disagree with opinions without attacking people. These rules cover reviews, profiles, lists, avatars and community tools.
- No harassment, targeted abuse, hateful attacks or dehumanising content aimed at protected characteristics.
- No threats, encouragement of violence, impersonation or misleading claims to represent others.
- No spam, scams, coordinated rating manipulation, malicious links or attempts to compromise accounts or the service.
- No illegal content or intellectual-property violations. Share only material you have the right to use.
- No doxxing or sharing private or sensitive personal information without permission.
- No pornography, explicit sexual uploads or sexual solicitation. Never post sexual content involving minors or non-consensual intimate material. Non-graphic discussion of mature game themes is allowed when relevant and respectful; catalog artwork does not make explicit user uploads acceptable.
- Report honestly. Do not fabricate allegations, organize malicious reports or repeatedly report the same issue to pressure someone.
Respect spoilers
Keep plot reveals out of names, titles and immediately visible text. Give a clear warning before discussing spoilers. Readers can reveal/hide game-page community review cards, but snippets elsewhere may be immediately visible. Do not assume all review text is hidden.
Reporting and enforcement
Use Report on public profiles, reviews and lists while signed in. Use Report illegal content without an account for suspected illegality. Blocking limits social/community visibility while signed in; it is not a substitute for reporting.
The operator manually reviews submissions and may hide/restore reviews or lists, restrict/restore public profile presentation, or dismiss reports. These tools do not automatically ban accounts. No fixed response time, outcome or complete confidentiality is promised.
